ManualCOAMSDSInterleukin-17A (IL17A) is also known as cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 8 (CTLA8),which is a proinflammatory cytokine produced by activated T cells. IL17A can regulate the activities of NF-kappaB and mitogen-activated protein kinases. Also,IL17A can stimulate the expression of IL6 and cyclooxygenase-2 (PTGS2/COX-2), as well as enhance the production of nitric oxide (NO).Furthermore,IL17A has been found both in glycosylated and nonglycosylated forms. High levels of IL-17 are associated with several chronic inflammatory diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and multiple sclerosis

| Protein Construction & Source | •(Uniprot: Q16552-1) Recombinant Human IL17A Protein is expressed from HEK293 cells with Alpaca Fc tag at the C-terminus. It contains AA Gly 24 - Ala 155. •The protein has a predicted MW of 41.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 35-55 kDa when calibrated against under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation. |
| Endotoxin | < 0.1 EU per ug as determined by the LAL method. |
| Purity | > 90 % as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
| Concentration & Formulation | •4.78 mg/mL•Filtered through a 0.22 μm filter, stored in 25 mM Sodium Citrate, 1x PBS, pH 7.4. |
| Transportation & Storage | This product is shipped under low-temperature conditions. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles during handling.•Protein solution can be stored at 2-8°C for 2-7 days.•Samples are stable for 3 months from date of receipt at -20℃ /-80℃.•Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. |
