PTK7 exhibits high expression in lung, liver, pancreas, kidney, placenta and melanocytes, and low expression in thyroid, ovary, brain, heart and skeletal muscle; expression is also observed in erythroleukemia cells. This catalytically inactive tyrosine kinase engages in canonical and non-canonical Wnt/planar cell polarity signaling. It modulates cell adhesion, migration, polarity, proliferation, actin cytoskeleton reorganization and apoptosis, and functions in embryogenesis, epithelial tissue organization and angiogenesis.

| Protein Construction & Source | •Recombinant Rhesus macaque PTK7 (Uniprot: F7HGR6-1) Protein is expressed from HEK293 cells with hFc (IgG1) tag at the C-terminus. It contains AA Ala 31 - Thr 611. •The protein has a predicted MW of 90.3 kDa. The protein migrates as 100-130 kDa when calibrated against under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation. |
| Endotoxin | < 0.1 EU per ug as determined by the LAL method. |
| Purity | > 90 % as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
| Concentration & Formulation | •1.8 mg/mL•Filtered through a 0.22 μm filter, stored in 25 mM Sodium Citrate, 1x PBS, pH 7.4. |
| Transportation & Storage | This product is shipped under low-temperature conditions. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles during handling.•Protein solution can be stored at 2-8°C for 2-7 days.•Samples are stable for 3 months from date of receipt at -20℃ /-80℃.•Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. |
