B7 homolog 3 (B7-H3, CD276), an immunoglobulin superfamily member, comprises two Ig-like C2-type and two Ig-like V-type domains. It modulates T-cell immune responses, protects tumor cells from NK cell-mediated lysis, and serves as a biomarker for neuroblastoma. B7-H3 also contributes to acute and chronic transplant rejection, regulates mucosal lymphocyte function, and supports the immune tolerance required for placental and fetal survival during pregnancy.
